Charlie Harris returns with a new single titled “Catch Me,” a track built on dreamy guitars that feel like they drift in from another dimension before breaking into a pop rock and folk tinged stomp. The song is infectious, warm and sweet, with a sing along lift that shows his sharp pop sensibility. It may be one of his catchiest songs to date. The production feels grounded in real human expression, as if Harris is reaching outward, sending melodic signals to listeners while still carrying a touch of melancholy that somehow puts a smile on your face. It is a reminder not to let moments of joy slip away.
Folk rock singer and songwriter Charlie Harris also brings fresh attention to “Catch Me,” one of the most loved songs from his debut album and a regular favourite at his live shows. Audiences have always been drawn to the upbeat feel of the track even though a more vulnerable story sits beneath the brightness.
Asked about the inspiration for the piece, Harris explains:
“‘Catch Me’ might sound upbeat and catchy, but underneath the hooks it is really a shout, a plea from someone who feels invisible and worn down. It is that moment when you are falling apart inside and all you want is for someone to reach out, grab your hand and show you that you matter.”

The melody carries a radio ready shine, while the lyrics reveal quiet desperation and the emotional weight of masking struggle with charm or humour. It reflects a familiar human moment where someone hopes to be noticed before their pain deepens further.
Harris first picked up a guitar at 13 with encouragement from his uncle. That spark led him into songwriting, multiple bands and eventually into his folk rock project Keep Guessing Charlie. He has released two albums titled Digital Dust (Side A) and Digital Dust (Side B) and has developed a loyal audience that connects with his openness and storytelling.
“Catch Me” remains one of the early compositions that shaped his sonic identity. Its combination of melodic brightness and emotional honesty continues to resonate with fans who return to it year after year.
