Sony Music Entertainment Africa would like to introduce you to one of its newest signings, Johannesburg based production duo Isle of Skye. Having been bubbling for the last couple of years and running in some of the most influential circles in the local industry, Carl von Hoesslin and Rob Jameson have taken the time to perfect their sound before signing a contract with RCA Records back in January. Today marks the radio release of their debut single “Gold”, which serves as an introduction to their sound and is an early taste of what to expect for their forthcoming EP release this winter.
“We are very excited to release ‘Gold’ to radio today” they said. “It’s been a long journey to get to this point, including lots of late nights in the studio, but we’re thrilled to finally be able to give everyone an idea of what we’re all about. We have big dreams in the music industry and this is only the beginning for us.”
