Sandile Shabalala releases the beautiful single Buya Sophy, from his new album.
Sandile started his music career when he was 15 years old in 1990 at Pretoria and has had a full and varied career.
BUYA SOPHIE is the first single off his brand new Afro Jazz / Gospel album ‘Uthando Lwami’. We were pleasantly surprised by the smooth jazz and the mix of gospel tracks and soul grooves. Sandile is a man of many talents and many styles, all attributing to a stand out album.
‘Uthando Lwami’ is a very unique Album which captures the listener from the first song to the very last song. It is a conglomeration of types of music from Jazz, Maskandi, Gospel as well as House music. The songs blend in together to create a beautiful album full of unique melodies and a new afro jazz sound.
Sandile has performed in various plays singing Opera Music and also became an actor playing in South African Soapies such as Binnelanders (Dr), Isidingo (wedding Priest), 7 de laan (body guard and messenger) and Generations as a Hotel host.
